Positions Currently Available:

QUALITY CONTROL/WELDING INSPECTOR

We currently have an opening for a full-time Quality Control/Welding Inspector.

Responsible for the inspection of welds as specified in the IPEC quality control procedures and for ensuring that IPEC employees are adhering to the established IPEC QC procedures.

Duties will include:

Inspect, boroscope and record weld information
Random examination of at least 20% of welds on non-pharmaceutical systems
In-process visual examination of piping assemblies
Review content of weld logs for accuracy and organize supporting mill certs
Maintain and fill out QC inspection checklist form for each project
Inspect raw materials/tube received and file certs
Inspect purchased tanks upon receipt at IPEC
Riboflavin test tanks with the support of shop personnel and engineering, including documentation of tests
Recording of pressure tests
Maintain welder continuity log
Review and identify customer weld specifications that are non-standard to IPEC operations
Certification of IPEC welders to IPEC ASME weld procedures
Slope mapping
Maintain calibration certs for test instruments
Maintain shop test area with the help of shop personnel
Develop QC documentation, procedures and maintain existing QC documentation

The ideal candidate will:

Have completed a post-high school welding program
Have a minimum of 2 years experience directly related to welding sanitary assemblies
Have successfully passed a Certified Welding Inspection (CWI) and/or SNT-TC-IA level II course
Possess good organizational and basic computer skills

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

We currently have an opening for a full-time Mechanical Engineer.

Responsibilities of this position include generation of process flow diagrams, review of system drawings created by the design department, and specification of equipment for procurement. The Project Engineer works closely with Project Managers, Designers, Suppliers, Fabricators, and Customers to coordinate and implement project budgeting, scheduling, engineering, design, fabrication, and testing.

Engineers spend the majority of their time in-house, but are expected to travel as needed for project site activities. Ideal candidate should have:

BS in Engineering or related field
Two years of Project Engineering or Project Management experience
Strong organizational, management and computer skills
Ability to work closely with customers and project team members
Willingness to put in extra hours to complete projects on schedule
Ability to manage multiple projects
Self-motivation and leadership qualities

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

We currently have an opening for a full-time Electrical Engineer.

Responsibilities include generation of control panel layouts and electrical schematics, review of drawings created by the design department, generation and specification of equipment for procurement. The Electrical Engineer works closely with Project Managers, Designers, Suppliers, Fabricators, and Customers.

MECHANICAL DESIGNER

We currently have an opening for a full-time Mechanical (CAD) Designer in our engineering department.

Ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Design with experience designing sanitary piping fabrications. This position works closely with project engineers and fabricators to design piping assemblies and process system construction drawings utilizing AutoCAD & Inventor 3D software.

TIG WELDER

We currently have openings for full-time Welders/Mechanical Fabricators in our production department.

Responsibilities include TIG welding stainless steel 20GA to 7GA. Qualified candidate should have experience reading blueprints, working with structural material, sheet metal layouts and stainless steel grinding/polishing. Candidate will work under general supervision maintaining production standards and assist in other areas as needed.

ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

We currently have openings for full-time Electrical Technicians in our production department.

Responsibilities include layout and wiring of control panels and installation of conduit and wiring on modular systems. Experience in reading electrical schematics, testing and troubleshooting preferred. Candidate will work under general supervision maintaining production standards and assist in other areas as needed.
