IPEC recently provided a Pharmaceutical customer several systems for a new production facility in Taiwan. Our scope included design, fabrication, and automation for a Wash-In-Place (WIP) System, WIP Distribution Valve Manifold, and Purified Water Storage and Distribution System.
The WIP system’s three wash vessels each include dedicated detergent injection, a supply pump, and heat exchanger. An additional heat exchanger is included to provide heated compressed air for drying downstream equipment after cleaning. A waste storage and pH adjustment system neutralizes wash solutions.
The 6,000L Purified Water Storage and Distribution System receives water from a generation system. From this point, the water is distributed through multiple use-points within an ambient purified water loop, hot purified water loop, and feed for the WIP.
