IPEC completed several HTST (High Temperature Short Time) systems for a customer using cutting-edge technologies to process a variety of sustainable feedstocks into high-value oil products using microalgae.
HTST
These systems continuously pasteurize solution by heating to a set temperature, holding for a specified time, then cooling prior to distribution for further processing or storage. Regenerative heating and cooling lower operational costs.

IPEC worked closely with this customer to design for maximum efficiency with minimal hold-up, footprint and energy requirements. Based on successful implementation, IPEC is currently working to develop additional systems to increase production capabilities.
